Improving energy efficiency from traffic control systems

Abstract

This paper looks at the various factors that a user should consider when setting out on the path to improved energy efficiency from their traffic control systems and offers some ‘rule-of-thumb’ values that may be helpful to readers in assessing their current position and deciding how to proceed.
